奥斯卡动画短片奖(Academy Award for Animated Short Film)是由美国电影艺术与科学学院奥斯卡颁奖典来自礼的一部分，每年一次，自第五届(19360百科31-1932)开始。
此类别在1932年至1970年间主题为"短片、卡通"，1971年至1973年间为"短片、动画电故其六影"。主题始于1974年。在下面的清教单中，有颁给迪斯尼的到裂友触22个奥斯卡奖中的12个，包括1968年的一个追授奖;占该类别最早的12次奖项中的10次。1952年之前，只有美国影片被提名。

奥斯卡最佳动画短片奖具有题远充很长的历史，从1932年开始颁发，只是早期的动画并没有借助电脑技术，意义的动画短片是从1974年开呼渐烧列始的。早期的动画短片一般使用木偶、粘土模型等道具拍摄，每个场景要拍摄很多帧，因此拍摄耗费的时间气船众角许黄电可能比其它影片都长。
