彭笑刚

湖南长沙人,纳米材料学家,浙江大学化学系教授、博士生导师 ,纳晶科负氢分跑货地究才略技股份有限公司创始人、董来自事长。

1983年彭笑刚考入吉林大学化学系,先后获得学士、硕士和博士学位;1994年前往美国加州大学伯克利分校进行博士后工作;1996年进入加州大学劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室工作;1999年进入美国阿肯色大学化学和生物化学系任教,先后担任助理教授、副教授、360百科教授、讲座教授;2009年辞去阿肯色大学教职,全职加盟浙江大学化学系;2011年2月10日彭笑刚在汤森路透公司发布的全球顶尖一百名化学家榜单中名列第八 ;2015年被评为全国先进工作者 。

彭笑刚主要从事胶状纳米晶的配位化学、无机纳米材料的生长机制、功能纳米晶的合成化学等研究工作 。

人才培养

  2009年回国后彭笑刚开始集中精力撰写《物理化学讲义》本科生教程,并担当浙江大学该门本科生基础课的主讲教师。在过去的两个多学期里,学校网站的学习论坛上关于彭笑刚教授所授《物理化学讲义》的讨论贴多达一千多个、点击以万计。学生反响极为热烈,反映课程非常引人入胜。全书从量子化学基础出发,通过统计热力学过渡到宏观物理化学理论框架,突出了溶液在化学中的地位,并在此基础上将化学动力学统一到热力学理论中,以新体系、新角度、新内容全面梳理物理化学的知识结构,体现了现代物理化不一样的物理化学。

  同时,以彭教授的专利转化成果为核心创建的杭州纳晶科技有限公司也于2009年底成立,获得风险投资5300万元,主要研发以量子点高新材料为核心的固态照明、生物医学诊断、太阳能电池的终端产品。在2010年5月的世界灯展(美国拉斯维加斯)上与其合作者联合推出两个系列产品,被业界认为代表着固态照明领域的颠覆性技术突破。

  在做好本科生教育、开展学术研究、推动高科技产业化的同时,彭教授还参与浙江大学化学系制度建设,致力于推动学科整体水平提高,2012年浙江大学化学系在《 J. Am. Chem. Soc.》《 Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 》等国际核心期刊上发表论文30余篇,较往年发表论文水平有了显著提高。
